Living a winter in a mountain resort is an amazing lifestyle. Many snow addicts want to learn to ski like a pro during their career break without having to go through a course being taught how to teach others. Does this sounds like you? Do you want to ski nearly every day for a whole winter? When it comes to learning to ski like a pro and living the mountain lifestyle, Big White has a lot to offer on and off the snow. The town welcomes you to play as a local. You will learn a lot, take away many memorable experiences and meet new friends for life. The terrain at Big White is a great place to hone your skills throughout the winter en route to becoming a pro skier. Get to rip endless tree lines, drop mini (or massive) cliffs, arc perfectly groomed corduroy, race gates against others in the group and not to forget the memorable road trip into the Selkirk mountain range for a cat ski experience.
The Snow Rehab Team sat down with Big White's Ski School Director, Josh Foster, to develop a ski improvement course that promises to keep you excited every minute you're on snow. With many years in the snow sports industry, Josh wanted to make sure you would be taught by the best instructors on his team in order to improve your skiing maximally. Here is what we decided…..You will be taught by Level 3 and 4 CSIA ski instructors for 5 days a week, 5 hours per day focusing on everything from basic turn techniques, to bumps, powder skiing, tree skiing, freestyle, steeps and much more. Getting to ski with these pro's who are at the top of their game is an awesome experience. Additionally, you will get plenty of free time to ski with your mates during the 12 weeks. By the end you will be skiing like a pro, and be the envy of your family and friends the next time you ski together. Sound like a plan, book now!
We think you should for many reasons, like getting to experience 2 mountains, the welcoming social atmosphere of Big White and not to mention the awesome skiing! There are other courses on the market you can choose from but none of them do it like Snow Rehab. Our team is addicted to getting it right for you. There are an abundance of activities for you to do at the resorts. We organise awesome social events and point you in the direction of great off-snow activities like ice climbing, snowmobiling or even games of ice hockey with your course mates. And, did we tell you about the powder cat experience that is a part of this course, not to mention getting the opportunity to ski with 4 time Canadian champion and 9 time North American Alpine champion Edith Rozsa one of the SR Team.
It is not fair to lie to you, but after 12 weeks in a mountain resort, your addiction to skiing and all things on snow will not have been cured. You will only have had enough of a fix to last you until the next time and by now you might be tempted to become an instructor. If at anytime during your improvement course you want to discuss this option, just ask.
