The CASI Level 3 instructor certification is for any snowboarder that has passed the Level 2 certification and is looking to progress to a higher CASI qualification. You must be comfortable on all types of terrain including freestyle park terrain and have an interest in teaching advanced snowboarding. The aim of the level 3 course is to obtain a skill set based on situational approach aimed at a high standard of snowboarding. During the level 3 course you will be introduce to instructor training. Participants will also receive coaching on their riding and their teaching skills. The aim is to reach level 3 standard within Pedagogy, free riding and terrain park.

The course is in two sections: a course phase where material is presented, then an evaluation section where the exams are conducted.

I've passed, who can I teach?

The successful candidate is certified to teach advanced snowboarders up to trainee instructors in different terrain.
