Why become a snowboard instructor, just ride like one!

After speaking to students on a recent gap snowboard instructor course, it became apparent many of them weren't interested in the qualification. What they really wanted was to shred like pro's for themselves rather than spending time instructing others. Upon hearing this, Snow Rehab's boarding division made a decision to create an improver course for those of you with this frame of mind. We are offering you the opportunity to enjoy time out of the realms of your typical life, and to come and live at Big White as a part of the snowboard community. Unlike many other Canadian resorts, Big White is designed in such a way that you can ride everywhere without having to clip out. You can slide right to the doors of the apres bars after a day in Telus park and shredding around the rest of the mountain. The Big White Rehab Snowboard Improver Course, taken over 12 weeks, is the place to be this winter. Warning: don't be fooled by other imitation improver courses. Above and beyond all that Big White has to offer, a short road trip away are the Selkirk Mountains where you will get your epic Powder Cat experience.

SHRED WITH THE BEST @ BIG WHITE! A snowboarders paradise.

Snowboard instructors who work at Big White are some of the most passionate boarders you will find. When they found out Snow Rehab would be sending you there for your 12 week snowboard improver course, they all wanted to put in their bit about what they thought you would like to learn and experience. Due to their enthusiasm, the course content is unbelievable! No rock has been left unturned: you will come out the other side of Rehab's boarding course better than you ever imagined. In our surveys, jibbing in the park was not top of the list either although it will be a part of it. What we love about Big White is its varied terrain where you will learn all the skills you need whilst boarding around the mountain, playing on the many natural kickers, sliding fallen trees, dropping mini (or massive) cliffs...all part of your training! You will receive formal, fun training on-snow 5 hours per day, 5 days a week. That is a lot of snow time! Wait, there's more: video analysis of yourself, we'll teach you how to pull 3's, 5's and more, your powder cat experience which we'll film and edit for your memory bank, a 1st aid course and certification, an avalanche course plus certification and loads more…..in fact Snow Rehab and Big White's Team will help you shred like a pro boarder!

You will never be the same after Snow Rehabs 12 week improver course: normality will vanish. Welcome to your new reality! The Reason: you will be snowboarding like a pro, and your mates might be green with envy when you post your pic's on Facebook. If that bothers you don't book.  You think you can snowboard now? Take some time out of your life while you can, pack your board and join us!

Should you choose Snow Rehab for your snowboarding improver course? Yip!

BoardQPPowderBoardAir

Gap year snowboarding will never been the same again! There are a number of courses on the market for you to choose from, but none of them are like Snow Rehab. This is the only course for snowboard addicts by snow addicts. We'll keep this short: Snow Rehab will tailor the course to your needs, you will chill in awesome accommodation, be well fed,  trained on snow, blah blah blah …..and more! Can't believe we almost forgot to mention the 2 mountains-in-one option! Oh yeah and the cat boarding experience! Check them out.

INSTRUCTOR ADVICE

We're not going to lie: after 12 weeks in a mountain resort, your addiction to snowboarding and all things snow will not have been cured. You will only have had enough of a fix to last you until the next time……and you might be tempted by now to become an instructor. If at anytime during your improvement course you would like advice on this, all you have to do is ask! Remember, this is all about you!
