Can't spare the time for the full snowboarding instructor course? Chill, the Snow Rehab snowboarding division have knocked up a shorter one! The town of Revelstoke, overshadowed by its mammoth mountains, is waiting for you to play urban style. The snow, known to the locals as blower, explodes all around you as you board through it, and it's here anyway regardless of how long you can afford to escape from life for! Even if you are only staying for a short time, you will be treated to some awesome conditions. You only have two question to ask yourself. Snow Rehab and Revelstoke Snowboard School have put their genius (woah, did someone just call us 'genius'?!) minds together in the "snowboard" room and created an awesome 6 week level one snowboard instructor course just for you. On successful completion you will slide away with your CASI level 1 certification and badge. This is going to allow you to seek employment within the snow sports industry as a snowboard instructor from the day you receive it. Check out the work promise below.

Give us the opportunity to satisfy your addiction to snow for a short time and the Snow Rehab team will deliver. If the ultimate cure is to get your CASI qualification, we'll help you get there. If the social, party scene is crucial during your gap year snowboard instructor course, we'll deliver that fix! It might be to get the opportunity of boarding in Canada (we get that), known for some of the world's best snow conditions. Whatever it is, the Snow Rehab board division have many on-snow addictions, from powder to playing on snowmobiles, but the one thing we are absolutely committed too is helping you ride to certification. WORK PROMISE!

If you decide to stay in Canada once you have completed your level 1 course in Revy, you will have access to career advice from the Revelstoke outdoor centre director, Dan Sculnick! He will point you in the right direction and if you have worked hard to impress he might even give you your first snowboard instructor job.

REVELSTOKE 6 WEEK SNOWBOARD INSTRUCTOR COURSE COURSE SCHEDULE

WEEK 1 Flight day and resort arrival. Meet the team, introduction to the resort and facilities. Collect your season pass. Free snowboard demo by Head. Find the legs and get to know the mountain with the Snow Rehab team over the weekend.

WEEK 2 Level selection with Revelstoke ssnowboard instructor team. Mountain orientation from your trainers. Weekend free time.

WEEK 3 Training starts on basic snowboard instruction. CASI five skills will be introduced. Terrain adaptation snowboarding on and off piste. Weekend AVI awareness course

WEEK 4 Continuation of snowboarding improvement focusing on individual skills. Instructor training focusing on basic teaching skills. On and off piste terrain. Weekend free time to let it all sink in.

WEEK 5 Level 1 preperation week, snowboarding improvement, running gates, racing against you colleagues for fun. Learning how to deal with steep and deep terrain as well as tree runs. Teaching practice with your colleagues. Weekend free time to study.

WEEK 6 Level 1 CASI exam this week. Good luck everyone. First aid course on the Sunday

WEEK 7 Couple of free days to board and Party before heading for home a qualified snowboard instructor.
