Parents & Family

Dear Parents and Family,

This may be the first time you have sent your child, loved one or partner off across the great blue wobbly alone, and you may be feeling a little nervous about the whole thing. It's perfectly normal to feel like this about their trip. You're probably feeling a little excited for them too and happy for this great opportunity, but in the same breath, this is your baby, boyfriend, girlfriend maybe even husband or wife we're talking about and this is a long time for them to be far away for so long. AND, if you are the one investing in this experience for your son or daughter, you want to be sure they come home with some useable skills and aren't going to be partying for the entire time.

Here are some faq's to help ease your mind.

They won't be on their own. They will be a part of the Snow Rehab family during their course. We have reserved excellent accommodations with same gender rooms if they're sharing. Our team will do regular room checks to be sure everyone is doing well and the rooms are maintained.

Snow Rehab have excellent food and beverage options available, meaning meals are included or affordable and most importantly, healthy. In order for them to get the most out of the course, they have to be adequately fuelled.

They will be skiing with their peers and instructors for a minimum of 5 hours, 5 days of each week. The course is well planned in order for your child or partner to maximize their potential, yet have a fun time experiencing a truly Canadian winter, right in the heart of British Columbia.

Value is something we pride ourselves on. Regardless of the course, we have built many extras in so that our clients go home with a plethora of unique experiences and memories for a lifetime. From the variety of skiing or boarding (all mountain), to first aid classes, avalanche certifications for mountain safety, instructor courses, cat skiing, and many off snow activities, nothing has been missed. Go ahead, have a shop around but be sure and come back!

During their time in Snow Rehab, we will be sending out a bi-weekly e-newsletter to keep you in the loop. There will also be a regular blog on our site to keep you abreast about Snow Rehab's going ons. Even if they forget to contact you, we won' is our priority to let you know how they are doing.

If you have any questions at this time about the course that your child, or partner is considering, please give us a call or send an e-mail. We're more than happy to talk to you. And during the course, if there is ever a concern from our end or yours, let's talk! You'll be as much a part of the Snow Rehab family as your loved one is.
